Kyary Pamyu Pamyu Caps off LA Show, Completes West Coast Shows of Second World Tour!

Kyary Pamyu Pamyu fascinated a crowd of over 2,400 fans at her sold-out show at Club Nokia on February 16th. It was her third time to perform in LA and her second headlining shows in the area since her last world tour. She stood on the same stage where she had performed for her previous LA show.

The majority of KPP fans at the concert were high school and college aged kids. Although some of them dressed as KPP, most of them were casually dressed with a bit of rock influence.

The concert, which started with a bang! to the song “Invader Invader”, immediately pumped up the crowd as some fans were spotted with their “Da” masks on (unique masks with a letter of Da that KPP’s dancers wore in the music video for the song of the same name).
KPP showered the rapt audience with her hit singles such as “Mottai Night Land” “Ninjari Bang Bang” and “Furisodation”. The excited singer yelled out over the mic, “I’m glad to see so many people here today! Thank you for coming everyone! How are you doing? Are you having fun?”

At her third US show, the 21-year-old was getting the hang of chatting to the crowd in English. “I brought my own stage set from Japan. Thank you for coming to see me. Have fun everybody!” “Than you so much!” “Crap your hands!” She talked to the audience in English between songs, and kept them engaged throughout the show.

Her three shows in the west coast of the US finished successfully as she left the stage with a smile, saying, “Thank you so much! I love you!”

KPP will come back to North America on March 5th to perform in Chicago, Toronto and New York.
